精炻器と呼ばれるやきものを夫婦二人で制作しています。
化粧土による立体的で精緻な絵付けが特徴的な焼き物です。
昭和の初めに岐阜県美濃地方で生まれましたが、約50年前に時代の流れに合わず途絶えてしまいました。
いま改めてその技術と伝統を継承しながら作陶しています。

Their pottery is characterized by three-dimensional and exquisite painting using decorative clay.
The pottery was born in the Mino region of Gifu Prefecture at the beginning of the Showa period (1926-1989), but ceased to exist about 50 years ago because it did not fit the trends of the times.
Today, the technique and traditions are being passed on to the next generation of potters.
